Memberships & Trail Passes

The Hunters Range Snowmobile Association (HRSA) offers both single day trail passes for visiting non-club members, as well as full season memberships for single riders or families. A large portion of the monies that are brought in from trail passes, membership fees and donated contributions help fund the operation of our groomers (i.e. fuel, maintenance, insurance, payments, and payroll), annual maintenance of our club shelters, firewood purchase and trail signage and improvements.

Membership

Membership with the HRSA gives you access to our groomed trail systems without having to pay a daily fee. It also provides you with a voice and voting privileges at monthly and Annual General Meetings. As our club is a member of the British Columbia Snowmobile Federation (BCSF)  your membership also includes membership with the BCSF. The society works on behalf of its members to protect our riding areas and promote the safe use of snowmobiles while working to achieve provincial representation for the snowmobile industry.

    2017/2018 Membership Fees:

Primary $170
Secondary $120
Child (16 & under) $50

Trail Fees

The Hunters Range Snowmobile Club has a trail management agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resource Operations and it is through this agreement that the organization is able to groom and maintain the trails and in turn charge a user fee for this service. In addition, trail passes allow visitors to use the HRSA Cabins which are stalked with firewood.

Under section 24 of the Forest Recreation Regulation a user fee for this system has been set at a maximum of $20.00 per person. Under section 27(3) of the Forest Recreation Regulation, a person who uses our trail system without purchasing a trail pass is committing an offense and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2000.

The daily user fee is $20.00 per snowmobile and must be paid by CASH or CHEQUE at each trail head from a HRSA trail collector.

Membership Benefits

By joining the Hunters Range Snowmobile Association, you are choosing to support snowmobiling in BC and ensure that we have areas to ride for future generations.  So while many people join the club for a groomed trail there is more to snowmobile clubs than just that.  The volunteers in clubs negotiate with government to manage these areas and work hard to meet the ongoing requirements of these agreements.  There are many well-funded groups getting organized and advocating to have us removed from the backcountry.  We need to stay organized, have strong membership numbers, and support the volunteers that keep this all going so that the people that just want to ride can.

Your Club membership includes a membership in the BCSF which gives you the following benefits with our corporate partners:
